We do accept well behaved dogs in two of our rooms, one on the ground floor, and one on the first floor. We ask that the dogs are never left on their own in the rooms at any time and are not allowed on the furniture. We also ask that they are not permitted to foul the gardens - we provide shovels to clear up any mishaps!
Is there somewhere to eat nearby?
We have several restaurants and pubs nearby that you can choose from. We attach a list of these when we confirm your reservation to assist you with your choice. We do recommend that you make reservations before you arrive to avoid disappointment, particularly in the high season between April and October.

What can we do in the area?
Where do we start?!
Dartmoor itself covers an area of 365 square miles of unspoilt countryside. It is an ideal place for walking / hiking, with plenty of public footpaths and bridleways to follow. Horse riders are well catered for, and fly fishers have a choice of the 4 main rivers that flow through the National Park. Pretty villages abound, and many of Dartmoor's features can be enjoyed within a few steps from convenient parking areas.
Within an hour's drive, you can reach the Devon and Cornwall coastlines, visit a number of attractions (for example: The Eden Project, Rosemoor RHS Gardens, Paignton Zoo etc.) or call into some of the many National Trust properties in the area - Castle Drogo is only 3 miles by car, or a 45 minute walk away for the more energetic.
Can I get to Easton Court by public transport?
We have got to be honest - arriving by car will allow you to do much more when you are here. However, public transport can be taken from directly outside the house, but you need to be flexible with your timings as buses are infrequent!
We have 2 local taxi firms, and advanced bookings are advisable, especially if you dine in one of our local restaurants and don't want to drive back afterwards!
The nearest train stations are Exeter and Newton Abbot. A taxi can be taken from the stations to Easton Court and will cost approximately £25-30 one way.
